The ACHI Foundation is a registered nonprofit dedicated to Social Impact Storytelling. We believe that the best way to learn filmmaking is to make films that matter. Our mission is two-fold: to produce high-quality narrative content that highlights underrepresented community stories, and to provide the next generation of filmmakers with their first professional on-set experience. We don't do "coffee runs." We treat our student interns as junior crew members, offering mentorship, networking, and the chance to put your classroom knowledge to the test in a real-world production environment.

A semester’s worth of experience in a single week.
Our production cycles are designed for the student schedule. We run Micro-Intensive Shoots that take place over summer break, ranging from 6 to 10 consecutive days. The Production Cycle:
Pre-Production: Virtual table reads and department head breakdowns (via Zoom).Principal Photography: 6-10 days of on-location filming. This is an immersive, 10+ hour/day commitment where we eat, breathe, and sleep film. The Outcome: You walk away with a verified IMDb credit, high-production-value footage for your cinematography or directing reel, and a professional network of peers and mentors.
